The 2018–2019 Writers-In-Residence at the Kerouac House

We are delighted to share the names of the four writers awarded a residency at the Kerouac House during 2018–19. The alternates for each residency appear in italics.

The Kerouac Project of Orlando, Inc. wants to congratulate the chosen residents and their alternates and extend our thanks to the record number of people who applied this year to become a writer-in-residence at the Kerouac House.

Fall – Eleanor Matthews, a fiction writer from Bristol, United Kingdom.    Jamie McGhee, a fiction writer from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Winter – Chad Anderson, a fiction writer from Washington, D.C.    Christa Romanosky, a fiction writer from Prosperity,  Pennsylvania.

Spring – Sara Batkie, a fiction writer from Brooklyn, New York.    Benjamín Naka-Hasebe Kingsley, a Poet from Baltimore, Maryland.

Summer – Deirdre Coyle, a fiction writer from Brooklyn, New York.    Katie Duggan, a fiction writer from Ridgewood, New Jersey.
